Volunteer Storytellers Wanted for Crack Theatre Festival Performance
Rue De La Rocket, a Sydney based artist collective, is currently developing a performance installation called OurShop for the Crack Theatre Festival as part of the This Is Not Art (TiNA) Festival in September. They are looking for volunteer storytellers for their project.
OurShop is an informative, dynamic work that aims to encourage people to think about the way in which they use social media platforms (specifically, facebook) and how they connect with others on a daily basis. They would like to ask for volunteers (OurShop Storytellers) to come forward to share their story, to have it recorded, so Rue De La Pocket can ask their audience to take a moment to reflect on the ideas surrounding communication, connection with our community and its members. OurShop is about making real connections with people and exchanging short, facile comments with bigger and deeper stories.
Rue De La Pocket are coming to Newcastle to interview storytellers on the weekend of the 30 June and 1 July. MORE
