“My father, a Worimi man, told me this story. His grandmother told him, he told me, and I tell you now…”

Come join us for a family evening of magic under the stars with Jack’s Place – a story from the Worimi Dreaming! Curious Legends has collaborated with the Newcastle Worimi mob to create a large-scale outdoor performance featuring Aboriginal dancers, shadow screens, video projections, and giant illuminated puppets in an inspiring tale that will light up the winter’s night.

The event will feature yummy food trucks, hot drinks and family activities. Come create shadow puppets, make a traditional crab pot, join dance workshops with the Bloodline Sista Girls, play theatre games with artists from Curious Legends, and if you’re game, even join us in the performance!

Through honouring elders of the past and embracing traditions of the present, Jack’s Place will transport kids of all ages on a journey through the Dreaming…
