
Sue Stewart is a Newcastle based Ceramic artist known for her figurative sculptures depicting everyday life. Her works are mostly humourous in nature, with occasional more serious works. Sue also enjoys making large sculptural pieces as well as one off thrown bowls and vessels.
Sue has an extensive exhibition history with nine solo exhibitions, the most recent being Serious Play held at Back to Back Galleries from August to September 2009, and numberous joint exhibitions. Currently working as a Ceramic Teacher at Newcastle TAFE, Sue has also previously taught Ceramics at the University of Newcastle and through Private Classes.
