Justiz Community is a not for profit agency and registered charity promoting social justice across the Newcastle Hunter area.
Located within Free Spirit Aboriginal Art gallery, Justiz enjoys a close working relationship with the local Aboriginal community and strives to promote the best interests of this community.
Director of Justiz, Elsie Randall, a Bundjalung Yaegl woman from the mid north coast of NSW with more than 3o years experience in the helping professions, has developed her own models of cultural competency training.
Module 1: Understanding the impact of colonisation; unpacking intergenerational trauma

Module 3: Cultural safety for Aboriginal and non Aboriginal people working in collaboration
Justiz also promotes the principle of “Community Weaving” across the Hunter area; linking people, businesses and organisations with common goals for a better lifestyle for all community members.
Recent projects include the Singleton Child Friendly Strategy and Mayfield West community piano.
