Julie Grant is a freelance visual merchandiser, stylist, installation artist and creative consultant based in Newcastle.
After graduating with a Diploma of Visual Merchandising from RMIT University in 2005 she achieved extensive visual merchandising experience with roles such as Mall Merchandising Executive for GPT Group’s iconic Melbourne Central and as a Visual Merchandiser for Myer.
Julie has designed and project managed ‘pop up’ retailing concepts, designed and implemented visual merchandising strategies for small and large scale retail projects, styled small events, launch parties, photo shoots and catalogues for designers and retailers as well as running workshops in both visual merchandising and styling.
In addition to Julie’s visual merchandising and styling work she practices as an Installation Artist. After gaining a Bachelor of Fine Art from The University of NSW College of Fine Art in 1999 she went on to gain valuable gallery experience working at the Newcastle Region Art Gallery for several years.
