Artevents Training & Development has been operating in the Hunter and Central Coast areas since 2005, offering a range of services to the community including arts project management, events management, community engagement initiatives, teaching and training as well as developing and coordinating arts projects for local government, non government agencies and community groups.
In 2011, Artevents expanded its operations to create a purpose built, dedicated arts studio and workshop at Mandalong NSW, to offer arts training to young people, disabilities services and the general community residing in the Gosford, Wyong, Lake Macquarie and Newcastle areas.
Artevents works extensively with a number of local governments in the area including Gosford CC, Wyong Shire Council, Lake Macquarie CC, Port Steppens CC, Great Lakes CC and Newcastle CC. Previous clients also include Burnside, Compass Housing, Benevolent Society, local schools, Southlakes Community Services, Wyong Neighbourhood Centre, Sugarvalley Community Centre, Cameron Park Community Centre, Catherine Hill Bay and Mandalong Progress (Community) Associations and numerous more.
Artevents prides itself on being a sustainable business and community service, which has featured in a number of newspaper editorials over the years. Artevents has also been the proud recipient of a number of awards including the 2007 “Best Community Event” for “Back to the Bay” Catherine Hill Bay Heritage Festival (LMCC), NSW Local Government Awards 2010 Winner “Art Culture”, Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Award Winner 2012 “Excellence in Art Cultural Innovation”.
