Culture Hunter: New Year. New Look

Culture Hunter has been revamped! We hope you like the new look and improved functionality.

So, what’s new about Culture Hunter?

  • The site revolves around a Directory, Events, News and Resources.
  • The Directory is now categorised according to art form, region and type (individual, group or organisation) which means it’s easier to find out who’s who across the arts.
  • A new Resources section has been added which contains free templates and useful weblinks to support your creative practice or career. Search according to business skills or art form.
  • The events calendar can be viewed in lots of different ways – choose from month, list, week, day, map or photo.
  • The news section is still the place to find the latest arts and cultural news from across the Lower Hunter region – grant opportunities, paid work and volunteer opportunities, event reviews, exhibition proposals plus more.
  • The site is now focussed on the Lower Hunter only. All listings that related to regions outside of this area have now been removed. If you wish to promote yourself in the Upper Hunter region, we suggest you contact Arts Upper Hunter.

If you are already a member of Culture Hunter, we invite you to check out the site. Once you are logged in, you can readily see your Profile, your Listings (Directory and News) and your Events.

  • Check that your Directory listing is up to date (if you have one).
  • Make sure you add a photo to make your listing stand out.

You can also join the Culture Hunter Editorial Team – get free tix to arts events in exchange for posting a review on the site. As well as submit an event for review.

If you are not already a member, register today. It’s free!

Produced by Octapod since 2006, Culture Hunter is the online arts directory and information hub for Newcastle and the Lower Hunter.
