Creative Access Network’s afternoon of creativity

Connecting_Disability_and_the_Arts_HotButtonNewcastle’s Creative Access Network is getting together on Monday 31 March 1-3pm for an afternoon of creativity!

Art Mania in Wallsend will be hosting a get-together; sharing their accessible studio space with a venue tour, arts program overview and 30-40 minute inclusive creativity workshop. Light afternoon tea will also be served.

‘Art Mania offers educational artistic programs through professional art instruction for ages between two to ninety-nine years! Our studio is unique, as we offer the ability to teach across a wide spectrum of mediums, for every skill level, from the absolute beginner to the experienced artists.’

You may like to come along and check out the studio and program to tell someone you know or ask Fee Madigan, Art Mania’s founder/operator and her team, about their philosophy around inclusive arts practice.

Art Mania is leading the way as an outstanding business and service provider to the wider community and they were recently awarded the local Rotary Business Award for 2013.

Places are limited for this unique opportunity, so rsvp is essential. Please contact Justine Potter, Octapod’s Community Access Officer, with the names of those attending and accessibility needs, by Thursday 27 March on or 4021 1605 (leave a message).
