Art Counts: Call for Artists

postcard_edited_v2_small-1Art Counts: Call for artists and stallholders with disability

Applications for the annual Art Counts exhibition close on 1 November. Works in any medium are welcome from people with disability and carers who live in the Hunter region.

Stallholders are also wanted for an Art Market to be held on the opening day of the exhibition from 10am – 12.30pm. This is an opportunity for people with disability to sell hand made craft items.

Art Counts is an art exhibition for aspiring artists with disability and carers who live in the Hunter region. Started in 2010 by the Disability Network Hunter, this annual event is now facilitated by Octapod. In its fourth year, Art Counts aims to provide opportunities for artists with disability to not only showcase their unique talents and gifts but to engage with the community through a creative medium.
