Join us for a conversation about the importance of arts and culture to the Cessnock region’s economic wellbeing. The region is home to an exciting fusion of artists, creative activities and arts and cultural venues. These extraordinary creative resources are often untapped, underdeveloped or under supported.
This free event is tailored to the interests of the arts and cultural sector and will offer professional resources, information and networks for local creatives. This event is being held in conjunction with Cessnock Regional Art Gallery’s monthly Art After Hours.

Hear from local artist James Whitington about his practice and career as well as Octapod Director Christina Robberds about the social, cultural and economic importance of arts and culture for the region.
