Mentoring

Are you an artist looking for support for your creative business or arts practice? Are you someone with an interest in the arts and need support to get involved? Octapod can help you with that via our mentoring service.

WHAT IS MENTORING?

Mentoring is a structured and trusting professional relationship between two people where the mentor provides guidance, advice and support to the mentee.

WHAT MENTORING DOES OCTAPOD OFFER?

Octapod assists artists to develop their arts practice and/or creative business by providing information, advice and referrals. We can also assist aspiring artists or people interested in getting involved with the arts, to take those first steps towards participating in arts activities.

We have long history of successfully delivering arts projects since 1997 and have developed strong networks across art forms, particularly in the Newcastle area.

We have a particular expertise in supporting artists with disability or mental illness to access the arts, and are able to assist any artist looking for support at any stage of their career.

Mentoring provides a safe environment for artists to seek guidance and support from an arts professional.

Our mentoring service is available to all Octapod financial members. You can then draw on our expertise to help you access the arts, or develop your arts practice and/or creative business. Become an Octapod member today.
