CULTUREHUNTER.ORG

CultureHunter.org is a resource dedicated to arts and culture in the Hunter region. It is an artist development project of Octapod Association and has run since 2006. The site has been redeveloped in 2011 and boasts new networking functions. Culturehunter.org is funded by Arts NSW.

Track down an excellent artist, sniff out an ideal venue or scout out events coming up in the Hunter.

DISCOVER

Browse or search CultureHunter.org’s directory to find artists, venues and organisations. As a member of the site, you can ‘follow’ your favourite artist or other listed member and be notified whenever they post anything new. And users can also create groups to better network and keep in touch.

CREATE

Build your profile. Culturehunter.org is dedicated to arts and culture and is specially set up to allow users to create an online profile. You can add pictures and now even video to your profile so it puts you and your work forward as well as possible.

SHARE

Promote your event on the What’s On page or add an Opportunity to the Noticeboard. Culturehunter.org is devoted to the Hunter region, and because it’s free to list, everyone gets the same space and there is no dominance by big promoters.
