YOUTH TELL DIGITAL STORIES

TAFE Outreach will run a FREE digital storytelling course at Octapod - with a youth focussed approach to exploring the theme for this year’s Cultural STOMP Festival - “Be The Change”.

The Youth Stories course will involve participants filming youth activities in the Hunter region and telling stories about change from their personal experiences. The finished digital story will be screened as part of the Youth Energetically Living Loudly (YELL) project that runs during the Cultural STOMP Festival on June 6 in Civic Park, Newcastle.
Where: Octapod, 3/231 King St, NEWCASTLE (cnr Auckland St). Upstairs, TPI House.
When: Thursdays, 3.30-6.30pm, Starting 19th March 2009. Runs for 10 weeks. Additional time may be required, depending on participant interest and availability.
Eligibility: Reasonable computer skills.
