Position available: Community Liaison Officer

POSITION AVAILABLE: COMMUNITY LIAISON OFFICER

The Octapod is looking to appoint a media savvy person to promote Octapod and raise its profile within the community.

The Community Liaison Officer position is responsible for producing media content such as a weekly blog, social media posts, and media releases as well as undertaking community liaison such as online surveys. The position works closely with Octapod staff to help promote their projects.  

This is a part-time position, until 31 December 2012, for 6 hours per week at $23.50 per hour. Plus leave entitlements and 9% superannuation. The term of the position may be extended but this depends on future funding of the Octapod Association. 

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and passionate individual with previous communications and publicity experience within the arts. The ideal candidate will have a talent for producing engaging online media content as well as solid community consultation and organisational skills.
