This Is Not Art invites Students of Event Management, Public Relations, Project Management and Music Industry studies from TAFE and University to complete Professional Work Placement with the festival in 2010. It's an amazing opportunity for you to get involved with a vibrant, independent national festival, meet amazing people and develop your skills.
So if you're keen to get involved in the country's most exciting cross-practice arts festival we want you to join our team. Getting involved at this stage means you can contribute to planning, promoting and developing the festival – a perfect opportunity to get hands-on experience, test yourself and share your talents.
Student Placements – limited opportunities by application and interview. It is required that you get
involved with TINA in a volunteer capacity as soon as your application is accepted.
The positions are:
Communications Team (Publicity, Promotions, Research) – Communications Assistant x 2
1. Assist with PR (Publicity, research, writing, liaise with Newcastle media)
2. assist Team Coordinator (Marketing, distribution, publicity, research, sponsorships,
advertising)
Production and Events Team – Event Assistant x 3
1. Assist Festival Club bar manager (Hospitality operations, buyers research, event management)
2. Assist Festival Coordinator (Event management, logistics, marketing, publicity, research, supplier liason)
3. Assist Sunday Fair Coordinator (Event management, logistics, marketing, research, publicity)
