CALL OUT FOR WORK FOR pARTicipate 2012

CLOSES 7^th NOVEMBER 2012

The Disability Network in partnership with Octapod and Newcastle Community Arts Centre will be holding pARTicpate 2012, our third annual Art Exhibition. pARTicpate 2012 is open to artists with a disability and carers of all ages in the Hunter and will be held at the Black Box Theatre form 20^th -25^th November 2012. We are fortunate that the exhibition will again be curated by well known artist Sally Bourke.

The exhibition will open on Tuesday 20^th November. The opening will include an Art and Craft Fair where artists and services and other organisations will be able to sell art and craft items in addition to those for sale as part of the exhibition.

All artists must complete the attached form which also contains information regarding submission dates, and drop off and pick up dates for art work.

Art work in any medium and collaborative or group pieces are welcome.

There will also be a series of workshops and activities as part of pARTicipate 2012 that will take place in and be inspired by the exhibition. These will include Creative Expression, Zine Making and Painting and Drawing.
