CultureHunter will be holding an arts and services forum on Thursday 18th June, from 5.30-7.30pm, at Newcastle Panthers, Cnr. of King and Union Streets, Newcastle West. The evening will take place in the upstairs ‘Skylights Room’, and will begin with light refreshments served at 5.30pm, with speakers beginning at 6.00pm.
The event is targeted towards people who are of a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background, particularly those involved in the arts, and organisations who work within the CALD field. The event aims to establish a dialogue between CultureHunter and the CALD community in order to create pathways for CultureHunter to support people from CALD backgrounds.
Staff from the Ethnic Communities Council, Newcastle TAFE and the Northern Settlement Services will make presentations on the night, discussing their own involvement with CALD communities and arts projects.
The event will also be an opportunity for all participants to network and exchange ideas, and there will also be a lucky door prize with great prizes to win!
If you are interested in attending, please RSVP before 5pm, Friday 12th June to Elodie at: marketing@culturehunter.org
