CultureHunter.org offers events for artists

CultureHunter is more than an arts and cultural website...it is now offering great opportunities for artists and performers. In 2010 we are hosting art exhibitions and performance events by CultureHunter.org members. The first exhibition, 'modest', is being held at Suspension Cafe on Beaumont St, Islington, May 7-21 with another planned later in the year. Modest features emerging artists, some of whom have never exhibited before...but create awesome work! We also want to host a fundraising performance style event in coming months. To find out more about these great events, contact Mel atcontent@culturehunter.org

Culturehunter Project Officer appointed

Octapod welcomes Greer Allen into the role of CultureHunter Project Officer. She is, and has been a student, an activist, a public servant, a performer, a painter, a writer, a cook, a traveller and an award winning super hero. She is really interested to know how culturehunter works for its members and what people would like to see it do for them.  Contact her at info@culturehunter.org to help her grow the site to suit the needs of culture in the Hunter.
