There are plenty of ways you can get involved - you can attend one of our events, come to us for advice when you have a project idea, volunteer on one of our projects, make a donation or use our facilities. Becoming a member of Octapod is a great way to show your support for the arts. Members receive discounts on workshops and special events as well as cheap access to meeting/workshop space and Octapod’s Media Space (video editing equipment). By 2020 Octapod is a valued community cultural resource hub with a reputation for inspiring new ideas in arts and media practice whilst making a real contribution to cultural vitality in the Hunter region.
Our mission is to plan and manage Octapod as an efficient and well resourced cultural organisation according to best practice standards in order to advance our Vision and deliver core functions.
'CH News' is the newsletter dedicated to CultureHunter. It's easy to subscribe: simply go to www.culturehunter.org and enter your email address into the newsletter field on the left of the screen. 'CH News' is sent just once a month (so we won't be filling your inbox with useless spam!) and contains various articles including:
